Maybe he realized that deadly force is never legally justified to protect property? He would have to prove that he felt the guy was going to attack him and that the broom, or whatever it was constituted the same level of threat as his car would. Personally, I wouldn't have used my car. In that case it makes more sense to either attack the guy without the use of the car or run away. Otherwise, you probably end up screwing yourself legally, potentially facing a murder charge b/c some idiot hit your car with a broom.

 

If I've got family in that car and he has a WEAPON that he is using to smash the windows that are right next to my or my family members HEADS, that once the windows are gone he has easy access to with that same WEAPON...... you're damn right I'd run him over to make him stop. Public property? There were ppl in that car that he was putting in grave danger..

And it wasn't a broom it was a sledgehammer...... big difference.

I'm sorry but I still laugh that the driver thought the best course of action as to drive forward and reverse repeatedly as if you can escape him. And I don't know if it's a man driving, because you can hear women screaming. I think most men get out and do something while a woman would not. Also how much would it suck if you were enjoying your day and some crazy mother****er starts hitting your car with a pipe.

Nah man it's a crack head with a large pipe. It's a heavy object so it's slow to swing and you can easily counter it. The biggest problem is if he has a concealed knife (which he most likely does) then you get shanked.

That's not a pipe...... it's a handle with some type of head on it as you can plainly see. Look at the dents it's making.....a pipe wouldn't cave the metal in like that.

It's either a sledgehammer or some type of pick axe or adze....

Your eyes are by far better than mine JS. I only see a blunt object and a lot of grainy video.

I'd be careful about somebody with a pick axe, but if it's a sledgehammer again it's a slow weapon. Very easy to counter

 

It's also easy to make one slip up or misjudge the guy with the sledge hammer's agility and end up with one of those great big dents...... in your skull....lol

At the 59 second mark u see him slip on the broken glass from the back window....ha! How funny if he did, and at the same time she/he put it in reverse and ran him over...
