If you dont live in the jacksonville area, you will be abel to watch it on sunday ticket, given you have sunday ticket

 

And if you live in the away team market (South Florida in this case), you can watch as usual on CBS.

 

Blackouts are only subject to the local market. For example if you have sunday ticket and live outside the jacksonville market, you will be able to watch the game.. If you live in the jacksonville market, (regardless if you have the ticket or not) you will not be able to watch the game.

True, I think.. I live in Jersey and have the ticket so thankfully I am not affected.

 

All of their fans over 10 are bandwagon hoppers.

 

No-one is affected except the residents of the Jags TV coverage area. The idea of a blackout is to get fans to games, and so they don't punish out of market viewers.

 

Its pathetic to think that Jacksonville was chosen over Baltimore for the 1994 expansion teams.

Not that I really like Baltimore as a town, but as football fans they are loyal. Especially after the Colts debacle.

 

This bodes well for the (lack of) homefield advantage.

 

So will it be on in Daytona? We are a Jax market but when the Jagoffs are blacked out we get the Dolphins games.

 

I wonder what this does for the moral of their team, if anything...

except if you live in the jaguars broadcast range. the jags have been blacked out on nfl sunday ticket every single time here. do they really think they are punishing jag fans by blacking the game out? if they cared, they would go to the game. they obviously dont care.

I guess you could make the hour or so drive south to Vero, it might be shown there.

 

I think the blackout is only a 50 mile radius or so from the stadium.

If you get your CBS station from Jax, you might be blacked out. If you have the Orlando station, you should be fine.

The NFL and the cable companies have made sure that we in NF can't get both. Shortly after the Jags came to Jax the cable companies removed all central fl CBS stations from their listings.

 

Jacksonville just doesn't get any help like the city of Miami does, Miami has a strong fan base all over the state....it has the whole of south Florida supporting it. And there's a lot more people in south Florida than in north Florida.

 

that and.....the city of jacksonville sucks.

 

The Phins still have a very strong fan base here in ne fl.

 

Why would you say something like that? It can't suck anymore than any other city with a million plus people in it.
