Normally, I’d say stay away just based on medical history, but if he passes a physical, he might be worth a look, considering the state of our cb group (and how good he is when healthy). Haven’t heard much about their interest in any of the other free agent corners, but I assume they are primarily focused on getting rid of Ramsey. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...oft-injured-star-cb-including-dolphins-49ers/
Pass. Way too many injuries and too much attitude. Only way I'd consider is a low-cost lotto ticket on a salary that has a small minimum/guarantee and heavy incentives and just for one year. Realistically speaking though, we need to stay away from pricey vets and I doubt he's looking to take a discount.
Agreed. He's missed games and been on the injury report when he played almost every year since he was a rookie due to that. Its a killer injury for a corner, and was what ended up ending X Howard's career, even though he played through it less effectively for a while. If Alexander was willing to play dirt cheap, I say why not. But if he was, that likely would have happened in Green Bay. I guess we'll wait and see.
