Jake beasted Peppers last year too against Carolina, though Peppers had a broken hand or something that game.
Well 5 or maybe 6 wins for this season.....should get us a decent draft position....... <===== hiding (where are the smilies ? did they make it over from the transition ???)
My feelings exactly. Anyone want to bet against Jake playing? We sure got a bunch of reactionary types around here, hehehe. Oh well, I guess that's what keeps forums going.
Back in the day, Dwight "The Man God" Stephenson, handled the Frig all game with a bad shoulder, basically blocked him with one arm, when we upset da Bears that year.
Yeah, I could see that happening. Guy is a friggin' stud, and a real throw back IMO. Hope you're right CK.
if its his first ever shoulder dislocation there may not be any real long term damage. unfortunately shoulders are a repetitive injury and tends to "loosen" with each repetition and sometimes leads to eventual surgical repair. hope he's ok, popped out, popped back in.
Freakin' ouch. No win was worth losing this many players. 77 is our rock on the right. We can't afford to lose him. I sure hope he is OK.
Minn.also, they may have a bad record but us catching them early when their Dline was physical too. Looking around the league and someone correct me if I am wrong but I cannot find another team that has played as many " physical " defenses as the ones we have played in just the first 9 games of the season. New Englands Dline are not *****s either guys. New England, Jets, Minn, Jets, Ravens Pittsburgh Titans and some coming off their bye weeks ? Lord, we are lucky just to have left what we have left.
This is awful. We finally play a complete game on both sides of the ball and win a game convincingly and we have a handful of major injuries. I'm hoping and praying they aren't too serious.
what in the world happened in this game, i feel like we lost half our roster yet we won with the biggest point deficit weve had all year against a good team...hope all ends well with these injuries
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel's Omar Kelly writes that Dolphins LT Jake Long's shoulder injury might require season-ending surgery. If it is indeed a dislocated shoulder as has been reported, then it's no surprise that the ailment could be season-ending. We'll obviously know more once the MRI results on Long's shoulder come back. It would obviously be a huge blow to the Dolphins to lose one of the premier left tackles in the league. While Long is out, RT Vernon Carey is likely to move over to the left side, with Lydon Murtha, Pat McQuistan and Matt Kopa options to take Carey's old spot.
