I was afraid we would miss him, but he would be our 3rd best outside linebacker. So I am fine with it.

Taylor had played sparse in NY. When in there he has done more then asked. He still has game if he's coming off the bench in set plays.

 

he started and played damn near every snap in 7 games this year.

Jason Taylor has been mostly invisible when I've seen him play, Jest can have him. He did get the safety this past Sunday but I imagine most LB/DE that are unblocked can run across the line and tackle a running back.

 

JT has been everything the Jet's should have expected. He no longer is the pass rushing threat he once was, but he still sets the edge well against the run. He is a fantastic back-up and he will still produce several big plays during the course of the year. The Dolphins could have definitely used him when Misi was struggling against the run early on and they subbed Ike in.

Although odds are you're right, I remember 124 trolling quite often. Especially after the week 1 loss to the Jets in 2008. If I had the ambition I'd dig for the specific thread I'm thinking of, but it was the very definition of trolling. He always got a lot of slack because he was boys with some of the mods.
