He was very PC, but at least Sedano challenged him a bit on the Daboll/Dorrell moves, and on who was really in charge when Parcells was here.

I like Jeff. I think once this lockout bs blows over were going to see some big moves by our FO. I'm excited.

he spent the first part talking about autism, then the coaching changes (pretty much backing them up). Then they spoke about parcells, peterson, ross's influence. Then he finally mentioned that he want to add speed and explosive play makers to the offense.

I really enjoyed it. I cant remember really ever hearing much out of Ireland. He defended the coaching hires pretty good and had some good reasoning for the picks they made. He took blame on some of the bad draft decisions. Explained the trifecta's decision making process as a collective effort.

I felt good about where we are headed after it. But thats just my opinion.

Some needs to tell that man how to properly use the word "exciting" as in "Chad Henne made some exciting throws".

Well, that is one way to say it, Irish doubled down on #7 as their Qb, which is fine, if they want to bet their jobs on knucklehead's talent, or lack thereof, if they are canned after the 2011 season they have only themselves to blame.

"he is one of the better slow developing young Qb's"

    Yes, Irish did say that..

evasive, not forth-coming, we know no more now then before the interview
this is a Parcells understudy, trying to be diplomatic. we will know only after the fact.
speculation is the stuff of forums :arabia: smoke & screens the stuff of the front office

I thought he was pretty lukewarm on Henne. He mentioned that Daboll had big plans for two players "The QB and Brandon Marshall" He did not name the QB. And he gave the qualifier that Chad Henne is the QB until we have the opportunity to explore other options.

But I agree, if they go into the season with Henne, an old, not a real challenge veteran and a late round rookie, it's their funeral.

I would think an old veteran and a late round rookie would be a challenge to Henne.

something that won't cost us the draft or break the bank, but create competition for the position
