Jennings is the teacher/student in first year with Dolphins

Colmaxforum_veteranOPMiami Dolphins wide receiver Greg Jennings enters his first season with the Miami Dolphins after coming over from the Minnesota Vikings this offseason. Jennings will be leading a young and talented receiving group both on and off the field. While his role remains to be defined, Jennings is confident that he will able to make a positive contribution.
"I know I'm going to be productive," Jennings said. "My mindset of what production is doesn't always correlate to statistics — that's the difference."
___________________________________"I've always felt like I had a teaching role, and I've always felt like I've postured myself as a student as well," said Jennings. "You know, I tell the young guys too, it's not a one-way street. I'm not the only teacher in this room. We have coaches, we have players that are very smart. I can learn from each and every one of those guys if I really posture myself to learn."

dolfan7171New MemberHis experience is so important to these new and young receivers. They can learn and soak so much information from him. They can learn anything from improving route running to reading defenses. Plus at the same time he wants to learn from them so he can continue to improve and get better. I'm glad we have him for the next two years or so.
