Any good video of him? I have a midterm tomorrow but I think this is more pressing.

Think I'll have a Messam/Thigpen sigpic for this offseason.ToddsPhins likes this. -
This guy is (from what I've been able to dig up), kinda slow but kinda shifty. I think with him being as tall as he is, he seems a bit easy to bring down. But we are not talking elite guards opening holes for him either. He might do pretty good in a well structured offense. I think he will need a bruiser full back. Bush might just be enough to draw attention away from him. He needs about 10 more pounds of muscle. And a better attitude. I don't think locker room wise it was a good move. We already have Marshall.
We could have a 3 headed beast on the run game. Seems like that's a trend now on some of the most elite teams out there.Last edited: Feb 14, 2012 -

Returns will determine if he makes the team , he has to be the primary returner if has any chance to roster. He is very quick , assertive and has very good return instincts. Not at all like Cobbs , if he plays on offense , he will be utilized in space.

From what little I've been able to learn about Messam, he seems like a solid addition and should alleviate any need for us to take a RB in this draft or even FA. now let's hope he turns out to be a good a pickup as Cameron Wake. My biggest worry about Messam is his off-field issues, but it seems he has turned that around, let's hope so.
