Yea. The defense is going to suck with Lito, Scott, Harris, Revis, Rhodes, Pace, Jenkins, etc...

Problem is, you now dont have a QB OR a TE.

Oh, and BTW: You forgot to throw that first round Wonder Vern Gholston into it

    TE?!?!

I guess you forgot about Dustin Keller..

48 receptions, 535 yards and 3 TDs is not a bad rookie TE year...

More yards and rec than Fassano, Watson and Royal..

Ranked 15 for yards as a rookie TE and 12 for Rec in the NFL last season

Dustin Keller is a very good young Tight End.

And if the Jets have every single position filled out except QB, I think Clemens or Ratliff can manage to Game Manage the game much like Joe Flacco did in Baltimore last year.

    Ohhhhh now I get it.

You guys are reading into the tabloids WAY to much. Landing a couple of high-paid FA's does not instantly turn you into the Ravens....not even close.

Should be interesting, but I venture and say, Farve wasnt able to do it last year, your O-line is another year older and not any better, you lost a key TE, and about to loose another VERY key WR.....

    We will see

Our Offensive Line was very, very good. Brett Favre hung onto the ball too long and the line helped produce the AFC's leading rusher and the NFL's best big play threat (most plays of 40+ yards = Leon Washington, offense only). The line is older? Moore, Mangold & Ferguson are all in their 20's, Faneca is 32,33, Woody I believe is 31 or 32 as well, for Offensive Lineman, that isn't old. 35 is where you start to get risky.

Brett Favre & Eric Mangini screwed the pooch in the final 5 games last season but the Jets weren't a fluke 8-3 team. Favre failed, so did Mangini.

I'm tired of arguing about this when it is so clear.

We will see indeed. Remember, the great "T-Sizzle" was thought to be a wasted pick in BAL before Billick told Rex Ryan that he's his problem and he turned him into a star. Working with Lawrence Taylor and Rex Ryan, I have hope for Ghoslton, and Calvin Pace did very well before Mangini got conservative when the team got good. He will put up 10+ easily next season in this scheme.

    1. bobby carpenter
    2.vern ghoslton
    3.jason allen

Come on joe, we both know thats blowing smoke...what would you base that on? just because Ryan was a good D coordinator doesn't mean he can cut it as head coach. we shall see

i do think the jets have made some good moves.:hi5:
