“Jason wants to win a Super Bowl, and he thinks he can do it with the Jets,” the agent said. “Rex has built a place that fits what Jason is all about.”

cuz Miami isnt?? seriously what is so far off between the Jets and Dolphins, that he cant win here??...unless he has one more left in the tank, and it is make or break time, if thats the case, go sign with NO, Minny, Dallas, or Indy.....those are the closest IMO to winning a championship...not the Jets..

At this point I hope he does go to the Jets and I hope they finish 7-9 like we did this season or even better 1-15 like we did a few seasons ago... Lost my tolerance for Taylors antics sorry... He's not going to the Jets he's just stirring up a hornets nest to try and get more money and I can't stand greedy players especially when it becomes a distraction.

Anyone reminded of Tiki Barber leaving the Giants because he didn't think they could win a Superbowl? Next season they win the Superbowl.

Good Luck, have fun JT!

He doen't like the lowball offer Miami's making and he's trying to drive his value up, nothing new.

Besides, the last time he left, we won our division, just sayin.

It's the gift that keeps on giving.

All this is a bunch of crap. If you are unemployed, you should submit your resume and see what happens. I don't care if your a 16 year old school girl looking for a job in the mall. Have any of you sat around and said "I have a real good offer, but I am going to hang out for a couple of months to see if I get my old job back"?
I'm sure the Dolphins will get the opportunity to match a deal. If they lose out, Dolphins fault. There can be zero fault put on JT period. The posts that assume so are completely retarded.

I would try to be polite to Mr. Polite if I met him.

If he signs with the Jets and we win the Superbowl, he is going to feel stupid. I just don't see him signing there.

Win, Lose, or Tie, I will be a Dolphins Fan Until I Die:up:

 trust me the Dolphins aren't winning the Super Bowl, this year or even next year. Taylor will be retired by the time we can win one, so as I stated earlier, if he signs with the Jests (of all teams) he is dead to me (and I suspect a lot of other Dolfans too).

whether or not the agent angrily denies a push for leverage cracks me up
this dog and pony show visit is right before the draft because the draft is stacked with replacements
they are forcing the issue
dont believe everything you read as far as dragging JT to the jets for the visit
that is damage control

Whaaat?

We played the two Superbowl teams very closely but lost to Indy with a dropped ball and folded on the Saints due to defensive lapses; and then swept the Jets who went deep into the playoffs.

If you don't think we have a shot, then I don't know what to tell you...

Dude, that is ballast, without it he would bob up and down like a bottle..:D

I am cool with Rex dealing with being morbidly obese, he was probably 200 pds overweight, 200 pds x 4,000 calories per pound, he could power the Enterprise like a small dylithium crystal..
