Not sure I agree with the bolded, that is until they have to back the truck up to pay everyone under a cap next year.....anywho it is good for the rivarly... Jets signed head coach Rex Ryan to a two-year contract extension. The NFL waited too long to pry Ryan from his old post as Ravens defensive coordinator, and the Jets benefited. Despite a rookie quarterback who threw 20 interceptions, Ryan took the Jets to the AFC Championship game in his first season on the job. He's beloved by his players, making it easier for the Jets lure big-name players to New York. With GM Mike Tannenbaum doing an excellent talent-collection job, Ryan should continue to win throughout the life of his deal. http://twitter.com/Jay_Glazer/status/19927186191
Seems they'll extend/re-negociate the water-crew before re-negociating Revis's deal. Sweet. Rex leading by example. Awesome. Show them how it's done! First the being-out-of-shape and now the taking-the-same-pay-but-having-job-security. Leadership
Ohh I am sure it will Sick, however he can pawn it off as the owner did it...as the funds doen count against a salary cap, when in place.... Dude the Jets are saying, "You are buffing Mr. Revis, you will show up, and be a good boy" Revis is saying, "Are you effing kidding, I wouldnt say that about buffing" this is about to get very interesting come Sunday who blinks first bro?? this is better than Brady, cuz the Pats are going to pay Brady they have too....it is just 35+ in guarntees is alot to fork over, you dont do it right away...
