You guys will regress this year. You will lose part of your secondary and you've traded away your draft. Add the final four FA penalties and you will be a worse team in 2010 then you were in 2009. Meanwhile the Patriots and Dolphins have all their bullets ready for this offseason. I would be more worried about being better than the Bills then worrying about winning the AFC East

Already read it. I hope you all of your jets buds buy into it hook line and sinker. Mortgage your houses and bet the farms. After getting swept by us and finishing 3rd in the division I will laugh at all the "SOJ" threads you guys love to create as your season goes down the drain.

I don't see anything wrong with the article. I think it makes some good points and I wouldn't necessarily disagree with it. I had the Jets winning nine games last year I think and it wouldn't surprise me to see them win somewhere in that range again next year or possibly one/two more.
-
jets wont improve this off-season. if for some reason, the entire league regresses..hey, they'll be in good shape. otherwise, ill take our free reign on FA, high draft picks...and a superior staff/team when everyone is healthy and suiting up to play.

The fact is the Jests defense is very good. There offense remains to be seen, but I do think Sanchez is going to work out for them, much like I think Henne will work out well for us. The Patriots are starting to slide and the Jests and Fins are on the rise.
I guess I don't really disagree too much with the article, except that, per usual, they are giving the Patsies too much credit. -

Meh.
Who's this Tim Graham guy anyways :shifty:
-
Regardless of what Tim says in his article, the Jests had a very "Fortunate" schedule, and had 2 teams all but not even show up.
They have mortgaged the entire situation for last year.
They gave up this years draft for a WR that won't even be back next year, and of course sold out this last draft for a good back and a very pedestrian QB.
They are in cap HELL, which doesn't even matter cause they can't play in FA anyways.
On top of that, their O-line is getting old, and will start breaking down more sooner than later.

We will see....but, I am going to :sidelol: :sidelol: when they are scraping to make .500 next year and yes, losing 4 of their Conference games......again :sidelol:muscle979 likes this. -

I read the article and Tim Graham NEVER SAID that the Jets are in better Super Bowl shape than the Pats. The thread title and the name dropping allude to him making the statement. But he merely quoted what some other people stated.

Heck i'd make the Jets the favorites to win the SB and the AFCE..
After all last year the preseason favorites won the SB..right?late again likes this. -

Suddenly the Jets are some kind of division powerhouse in some people's minds because they had a lucky nine win playoff berth. Nevermind that they had an abysmal 2-4 record in the division last season. Nevermind how people were talking about mediocre they were after their week 15 loss to the banged up Falcons. They go on a good run and get a ton of outside help and suddenly they are the new franchise to fear in the East. Anybody who is paying attention should know better than this. They're going to overtake the Pats and Dolphins? Try winning more than one out of four against them. That might be a great start. Good luck with that Jets.

Pre Combine favorites...then it will be Pre Draft favorites...Then Pre OTA favorites...Then Preseason Champs...then Finally.. Regular season chumps.
