Running back Jay Ajayi and his Dolphins teammates had a bye last week, which means he’s well rested for his attempt at making it three straight games with at least 200 rushing yards. Ajayi would be the first player to pull that off, something he called “an amazing thing” this week. The Jets will be the team trying to stop them and, as you’d imagine, they are a bit less enthusiastic about the prospect of Ajayi continuing his streak this weekend.
Defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers says he’s “losing sleep at night” due to thoughts about Rodgers and defensive end Sheldon Richardson said the team is focused on avoiding a spot in the history book. “Decent back,” Richardson said, via ESPN.com. “They found a little groove with him right now. I think we’ve got a game plan for him. We’re not going to be a footnote in history, and that’s how we approach it.”
The Jets have allowed the fewest rushing yards per game in the league this season, which should add to their confidence about keeping Ajayi from crossing the 200-yard plateau again this week. They’ve also allowed the most passing yards per game, which should impact the way Miami approaches the game even if there’s no history to be made through the air.

All I care about is a win. Let them focus on the J train. Thats fine because even Tannehill should be able to carve their secondary up if Jay gets that much attention.

The Jets are still allowing 3.3 yards per rush. Other teams seemingly just chose to pass. Who knows? They think they have solved their pass coverage woes. Should be another fun game to watch.

hopefully, we've looked at the tape from the AZ vs NYJ game and figured out how the Cardinals were successful against their run D. some of it probably had to do with David Harris being out. But not all of it. Quick inside hitters IIRC.

May be a little late, but I'd start Ajayi. The little that I've seen on Forte the last couple of games would prompt me to start Ajayi. Forte is still pretty good out of the backfield leading his team in YAC. Haven't seen his stats, so maybe that will help you more. May be too late now.
