03/25 Jets: Robertson trade unlikely
The News
The New York Jets have tried twice in the past month to trade defensive tackle Dwayne Robertson to the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos, but neither club appears interested at this point, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

Our View
Robertson is in limbo because of an inflated salary and bone-on-bone condition in his knee.

UPDATE

The Panthers reportedly tried to acquire Dewayne Robertson in the trade that sent Kris Jenkins to the Jets.

Carolina decided it would be best to go for draft picks instead and avoid paying Robertson a big new contract. If Robertson is released later this offseason (which appears likely), the Panthers figure to have interest.
