As much as I hated it when he played against the 'Phins... Fighting cancer is so much more important than football games, and Jim Kelly, and anyone who has to deal with this scourge, need our prayers! I have a former Green Beret from the Nam era, a mother with two small children dealing with it, another older mother, and about eight others in the parish with that disease. Jim will have prayers because of who he is, and I pray that we will remember those we know around us as well.
Grace and peace be with you, Mr. Kelly and all who deal with this disease..

    It's a shame, he's a really cool guy.

People really need to stay away from chewing tobacco and cigars.

Commented on this in another forum. His wife said the cancer is spreading. Really sad.

As much as I did not like what he did to Marino and the Dolphins, he was always a class act. Really sad to see with all his family has gone through and they have been absolutely class all the way.

Prayers for him and his family that the Lord will give him recovery and a few more years.
