Wow, very impressive he is 6'6 230 which is great size for a quarterback makes the tough throws look easy and can get away from pressure. He is always looking downfield as well, he has star written all over him and if Miami can take him sometime in the second round then I think Ireland and Parcells grab him unless they like Beck which I am not sure of going by Irelands presser. I would like to give Beck a chance but if he takes too long to develop it will be time to draft another quarterback because of his age and it is possible we miss out on another franchise quarterback.

Some sick throws huh, lol. He has a bit of a weird deluivery though. There is at least one year of fundamentals with the guy but the arm is second to none. Like someone said "he could throw Beck 50 yards"

Very impressive. Interesting project QB. Didn't really play against elite teams but worth a flier.

Exactly, that's why you cant draft him in the 1st. Look at some of the defensive linemen rushing him and they look like linebackers or safeties. The all star games are going to be huge for him, more than even the combine I think. It'll be the only time people get to see him against legit competion before the draft

He looks pretty good i would much rather have this guy though this is for the people that say Colt Brennan Cant Throw the Deep Ball and he has good touch of the ball also the guy can also run

I noticed that delivery as well but he won't be a first year starter he will spend the first season on the bench and be a project player but his upside is huge.

I thought that right off the bat. My first thought was what a weird short delivery but an extremely quick release. You know the guy has amazing arm strenght if he is getting the ball out on a zip that deep with such a short delivery. The kid has an amazing flick of the wrist. If someone takes him under their wing and develops his throwing style he could be scary good. Nice speed on the scrambles too. I'm impressed. Thanks for the vid.

Good grief, I wouldn't touch that delivery. Only way I'd want to "work" on it is if it causes him to be inaccurate. Other than that, why change something that's so quick and powerful?

The delivery seemed odd to me at first as well, then the more I saw the more I thought that in some ways he has a "marino Like" delivery very fast and powerful.
Wouldnt change that release either unless accuracy or Dlinemen get their hands up, is Flacco going to the Senior Bowl?

well then Im not the only one who thought it was a little marinoesque. i didnt want to mention the great one but that's exactly who i thought of when i seen the speed and velocity. If we pass on Ryan I think we should roll the dice on him in the 2nd. I believ he is. If not the senior than the east west, not sure

Well, he DID transfer from Pittsburgh. Didn't some Dave Marino guy go there? If I remember correctly, he was pretty good.

im kinda torn since i really like this guy and Beck. barring a superb combine, do you guys think he will still be there in the 4th? would it be wise to get him esp with all the holes we have? or should we wait until the 6th/7th round to find a project QB?

The first throw on the reel was a bad one, if he led the receiver it was an easy TD but he threw it behind him.

    Great looking arm though.

He looks good, but see all the "highlight" films always show the good throws. I want to see the bad throws, the bad games, that is what will show his moxie and how he can rebound from a bad play or two. Or what he will do when things go bad... That IMO, is more of a sign of how a QB will perform in the NFL.
