Joe only sees the team as a .500 football team, bye is coming at a good time and gives a chance to regroup.Stephen Ross provides excellent support and fully backs them. Have lots of hungry players. Ryan earned starting position and gets better every week. Very impressed with his decision making, handling blitz aspect of NFL very well. Has very good poise and composure. Mike Sherman was Philibin's english teacher in high school.

It was one of the better interviews I've seen on ESPN. There was that nugget and discussion about Sherman being high schooler Philbin's english teacher. 1979 he said.

According to Joe, Sherman taught english when Joe was in high school. There was also something about Kirk Ferentz being one of his teachers but I couldn't follow it all.
