Well, the name returns to the stadium in some fashion. The statue of Joe Robbie that was put in a crate during 2005 and sat there has been brought back outside the stadium in the new "Joe Robbie Alumni Plaza." Even before being put away in 2005, the statue wasn't really anywhere noticeable apparently.

Hope they show the Golden Knights parachuting in with the Dolphins and US flags during Halftime.

It will always be "Joe Robbie" to me for without his vision there would be no Miami Dolphins!

Thanks Mr. Robbie, may you RIP!

Say whatever you want about Joe Robbie. But he is the founder; the creator. With his own money, he took all of the financial risk, began the franchise, bought the junior interests, hired Don Shula and his gang of football storm troopers, presided over greatness that has never been equaled in the annals of football, and didn't ask one taxpayer for one penny to build his stadium. In perpetuity, the name of the stadium should be "Joe Robbie (insert name of corporate sponsor) stadium."
