henne needs to develop touch on the underneath passes
he has a cannon arm and can really sling it
our young qb CAN make all the throws

i was very impressed with the 4th and 6 play
henne gave cam time to run his route
waited for the double move
most young qbs would have delivered that ball too early
nice throw
we should believe in our young qb
he is going to be very good

 

talked with a patriots fan friend of mine today. he said he hadn't seen Henne since the last time we played New England. He didn't realize how good he was until Sunday. He said he was very impressed with Henne, and that we got a damn good QB. This is coming from a Pats fan.

 

Best QB we have had since Marino... only going to get better.

 

I said it in the old post the guy looks like he gonna be our starter for a while and got hammered.Never said a dan marino or brady but a good Qb he will be.

 

Agreed. he has 3 4th qtr comebacks already. And every time he screws up, he makes up for it. He completely missed polite on that 3rd down play, but like you said, he nailed it on 4th down. Same with the bucs game. Throws an int one drive, goes right down the field for the win the next.

You can't coach tough mentality. Some guys have it, some guys don't. Henne has that.

I don't like the big ten, but there is no doubt in my mind that being the starter at the big house makes you into a tough SOB QB.

The BIGGEST thing I think Henne needs to work on is his deep passes. He had so many chances last week, but seems to overthrow 90% of them.
