no matter, this is the only year we will have both JP and JT on the team ... one will go away next year -- and my guess is that it will be JP.

I disagree, if this team competes like i think their going to, hes got 2 years left on the contract, hes the leader of our defense and this team is evolving together. I see him being good enough for us to want him to fufill his contract.

at least two good years for Jason, Joey, Ferguson, Bell & Allen
(I think Pennington could easily play another four years)
this is why we are so deep in PassRushing {Wake, George, Roth, Walden, Crowder, Anderson, Torbor, Folsom, Ayodele & Moses)
who will emerge @ OLB after the two years. I think the first four have the best shot.
NT will probably be the priority in the next draft & FreeAgency

Joey's had some knee and back troubles in the past so those are still a concern of mine. However, if this team conditions him like they do with the rest of the guys, maybe they could extend his good play another couple years.

The strength & conditioning program they implemented last year has been stepped up even another notch this year from what I heard Porter say in an interview the other day. So I expect injuries will be limited again and these guys will be even stronger and capable of wearing opponents down in the 4th quarter.

Porter's only problem last year was he really had no serious pass rush threat on the other side, and teams double teamed him all the time. He just ran out of steam at the end of the year. This season we have JT, Cam Wake and Roth will be improved, so Joey can be rotated out on some plays and be more rested for when he's really needed. Plus teams will find it harder to focus on Joey, because if they do, JT, CW or MR will give them fits.

A healthy Jason Taylor is gonna make a world of difference for this defense. He looks explosive to me. I dont project much dropoff in Jason's game. I actually want him on the field more then what some are speculating. Especially considering that i dont see diminishing skiils.
