Cant say I didn't see this coming. Lynch and Harrison are going to cause alot of headaches in the back field. They may be old but they can still play. This doesn't take away from them losing Samuels but it helps strengthen their secondary tackling wise.

A good move for depth and help in the immediate future. I can't call it a bad move IMO.

Lynch has lost a step. I believe he got replaced by Hamzah Abdullah whose a pretty good player. I think they said that Lynch would play 'backer and Safety for them. They got Meriweather back there (:theu:) so I wonder where Lynch fits in at Safety.

Brett Favre had his third best statistical season last year.

John Lynch? He's made Pro Bowl's in Denver because of his name, but was never anything special like he was in Tampa.

better go back and check the 4 years prior:up: at this point in Favres career, without a really good team around him, hes not the Qb he once was. the Jets don't have that kind of talent in Wr's and running backs:up: I think you Jets fans are in for a major disappointment, but hey, what do I know, I could be wrong:up:

He wants to play. No way he plays while Bob Sanders and Bathea are back there.

Are you telling me Ryan Grant is better than Thomas Jones & Leon Washington?

Also, if Coles can remain healthy, I'll take him and Cotchery over Driver & Jennings anyday. But yes, from 3-5 the Packers receivers have more experience, but at Tight End I'll take the Jets' trio of Baker, Franks & Keller over Donald Lee.

I am actually. Grant is a powerhouse and a one back player, compared to both of the backs you mentioned that are compliment backs. Jones and Washington can not carry a program on their own, hence the problems the Jets had last yr running the ball. Both need a power runner, or a change of pace back to compliment their play. Grant is a feature back that goes in and outside just as well. Jones hasn't been himself for a yr or two, honestly. He doesn't hit the holes like he use to. Maybe with a stronger line we are in for a different story......BTW....what does this have to do with the Pats signing Lynch???!!

Jones cannot carry a team on his own? Are you kidding me? This comes from the Ronnie Brown people? Thats hilarious. The Jets running game struggled last year because the line was ****. You need to obviously watch more Jets games. Also, I love how Miami fans bash on Washington but he absolutely owns the Dolphins.

Jones & Washington > Ryan Grant's 8 successful games. He'll be a nobody again soon enough.

LC and Cotchery are a better tandem than Greg Jennings & Donald Driver. Easily. Just because Coles was nicked up and missed games last season that effected his stats doesn't mean Green Bay has the better 1-2 pair. The Jets TE's also blow Green Bay's out of the water.

The Jets have a better offensive supporting cast for Favre. Better depth at RB, Tight End and a better Offensive Line. The only thing Green Bay might have is a better 3-5 at WR but the Jets have young guys who could vastly improve with Favre behind center (Stuckey, Smith & Clowney).

They signed him to a one year deal, so I'm not really sure the major details. But they have alot of players on the end of their contracts I'm sure. The "dynasty" is on its last leg with this squad. Couple more yrs and most of the D will be retired.

Just what the Pats need another safety who can't defend the pass.

That man is ancient. Between him and harrison they have zero speed from the SS position. The Pats D is going to be extremely weak.
Line is still solid, LB's average age is like 63, DB's talent starved other than Hobbs.
