It doesnt look like it would take a draft pick to break him free....as long as it is after the draft.

That's great to hear.

I wouldn't say Jones is alright with losing Ireland, just that he's not worried about it happening yet.
Jones clearly wants to keep Ireland. There's a reason he was blubbering and blustering a week ago. -
I agree. It's not that Jones doesn't mind losing him, Jones just knows there's nothing he can do if Parcells offers Ireland the GM job with full control. -
Gonna be pretty funny to watch the cowboys fall after this season without Parcells, Ireland, Sparano, and Garrett. I mean, Wade Phillips is the one whose gonna be sweating bullets when this is all over.

I didnt say that Jones was happy about it .Rather that it seems he wont make too many waves about it.
If Ireland really wants to accept a job offered by Parcells would Jones really force him to stay against his will. Not likely . -
Jones is a wheeler dealer that LOVES to be on camera.
What he tells the media and what he is actually doing behind the scenes are probably not the going to be the same.
I think it is a minor mniracle that he and Parcells managed to last this long. Wasn't it Parcells who wanted to start Romo earleir, and Jones was constantly in the media saying that he wanted to keep a veteran - (Bledsoe) as the QB?
He didn't have Romo play all of the pre-season games for nothing... -

It seems like Parcells is already planning for the draft by the article I read in the PBP. No mention of Mueller whats so ever. That sounds rather ominus for Mueller.
