Johnson is an outstanding athlete, he is fast (4.67-40) and agile. He has been playing in a pro style offensive system and is an intelligent player who has improved every year. He uses his instincts very well. He has good arm strength and a very impressive career TD-Int ratio. Johnson is a good decision maker, making plays all over the field. He has shown the ability to lead and is a quick learner. Although his level of competition is a concern as he did not face complex defensive schemes in college. He also needs to show more patience in the pocket and his footwork is a concern, so he needs to improve on his mechanics.
