OLB Joey Porter (right knee) remained out this morning at the Miami Dolphins' Thursday practice. J-Peezy was alone on the stationary bike today, however, as fellow OLB Jason Taylor (shoulder) and nickel CB Nate Jones (hamstring) returned to drills.
Saw some good explosion out of Jake Grove in lineman drills. His sprained left ankle is still heavily taped, but it appears he might be able to get back in there this week at Jacksonville.
Practice squad CB Will Billingsley was not present this morning. Nor was backup OT Lydon Murtha, the former Lions seventh-rounder out of Nebraska. They have most likely been cut but no official word yet from the team.
In Murtha's case, maybe the Dolphins were getting a little antsy about having so many ex-Lions in their building. His departure still leaves DE Ikaika Alma-Francis and WR Taurus Johnson.
