Anyway, the dancing's almost over. What's it been, nine weeks now? It's a total grind, 8 or 9 hours of practice a day, and I found myself dead tired this week. I needed a lift, and that's exactly what I got from Dan Marino.
But my best friend in football—that's Zach Thomas. I'm married to his sister, of course, but he and I have been in the trenches together for years, and he decided he wanted to be in the trenches with me again. So he flew out to LA last week. We had dinner a couple times and hung out, and it's just tougher to see him now because he's on the Dallas Cowboys. It'll be strange to see him in another uniform this coming season but that's the league nowadays. He'll go continue his legacy in Dallas, and I'll go and continue my legacy in…oh, I'm not talking about that right now.

Wow......Thanks Jason! Anyone else think hes rubbing it in our faces with that??
-
no. He doesn't want to say anything that will spark even more bs articles. Can you blame him?orangefinfan and dolphindebby like this.
-
Why bring it up then just to say "oh im not talking about that now" ??? Hes trying to start stuff imoorangefinfan likes this.
-
because he was talking about playing opposite zach?
-
nah just the WAYYYY he said it....
"and i will continue my legacy in....oh....i wont talk about that now"
Thats pure poppy**** and hes trying to get more publicity on it, why not just say "miami" ???
EDIT-- lmao at the profanity filter on my use of poppyc0ck -
because either way regardless of what he says its going to spark stupid articles. How many have we had already just becaue he's dancing. He says I have talked to coach sporano or I will be a dolphin, its ignored and everyone says its just him not wanting to talk about how he demanded a trade. So what the hells the point?
Anything he brings up about his future sparks articles, so why even say it. Ten dollars says even this sparks more articles. -
I'm just sick of hearing about dancing period. Whether it's turning on the television or going online I have to see/read about Taylor, dancing, and the Parcells drama. I wish it would just end already so it's no longer an issue, whether Taylor is traded or he returns to the team, I just want to get back to football already.

JT was smart about not saying anything, look at the mess created just by him not saying anything! I say go JT, I would vote for him if I watched the show. Bring home the disco ball JT, then get 25 sacks next year for the Miami Dolphins!
And teach Jake a few things while you're at it will ya?unluckyluciano likes this. -
Many fans already threw him under a bus when he didn't say anything.
-
the blogs about dancing. He was giving his thoughts on zach and it led into something else which he didn't want to go into.
-
He brought it upon himself though.....we are not reading into something, or trying to read between the lines....he brings up the discussion again, and adds more fuel to the fire himself by saying "and i will continue my legacy in....oh....i dont wanna get into that"
Why not just end it with "zach will continue his legacy in dallas" and move on?
or just finsish it with "i will continue my legacy in miami...."
i just felt he wanted the attention and was adding more fuel to it bro, thats all -
thats all rumors....and has been addressed multiple times by the FO they were not trading jt....and jt is stayin in miami as said by his head coach....that should be taken into account over some D-Bag working for yahoo sports making rumors....
-
I have nothing but admiration and respect for both Taylor, and Thomas. JT has always been a playful guy, and I'm sure he is well aware of all the rumors, etc. that have been flying around about him. IMO he was just being sarcastic. I think its a given that he wont play for us that much longer if at all.
-
I just hope that his head didn't get so big that he starts referring to himself in the 3rd person like Shaq did.
Reporter: So Jason, how do you think you'll do today against the Bills?
JT: Jason Taylor is a player and comes prepared. No doubt, JT gets at least 2 sacks today.
:pity: -
and hopefully he doesnt call us "earthlings" and think hes from another planet......:lol:like2god likes this.

Personally I'm sick and tired of all of this JT crap. Every offseason he hints at retirement and every offseason he has us, his teammates and his team wondering if he'll be back. Just shut up already and play the damn game. The guy is still under contract to the Dolphins, yet he's more worried about preparing for a career after football than stepping up and being the leader that some people are giving him credit for. He's not a leader, Zach Thomas is a leader, JT is a great player that is only a team player when the team revolves around him.
-
I just think you are looking to far into it given the rumors. It is what it is, a personal entry and a small sentence of him trying to avoid more controversy or showing his distaste for controversy.
-
imo if he wanted to avoid to controversy he couldve hit backspace on his laptop....and took out that controversal sentence altogether :wink2:ATVZ400 likes this. -
Dont make us mad number 99!!!!!!!!!!!
-
what would JT be without controversy botha? :hi5:
-
or he could just stay out of football altogether.........
-
or he could just get into basket weaving........... -
yup then all will be right with the world of football as the last selfish man will no longer be involved. The murder rate will go down, global warming will cease, and we can all skip gleefully through the meadow whilst we sing tra la la tra la la.
-
:evillaugh: -
you would think thats evil. You and jt can both take a hike.
-
I guess we will just 'waltz' our way outta here......
See what i did there? -
I don't know where you trying to post another picture? :hi5:
-
:sidelol:
-
haha very funny......that was soooooo page 350 of the "just to talk" thread....get over it :pity:
-
No way, we will never ever let that go!
