I understand what you are saying, and I know Pat had a bad camp last season, but we didn't acquire Thigpen until after Pennington went down in season. Pat White was always going to be a part of last years team. I have been a diehard Dol-fan for 38 years now (weird being born and raised in Ohio). I might be a NOOB here, but I am an avid poster on other boards. I just don't like bashing of our players, especially unfair bashing of young players that have not had a chance to develop. Plus, White was basically FREE after our JT rip-off. I know it doesn't sound logical, but I get it. If I make a wager, and win, I usually splurge with the "FREE money". I understand it doesn't make sense because if I lose I still need to pay, but IMO same kind of philosophy used with White pick.
We knew Pat White was a "shotgun QB" and a project. I agree it was a gamble that might not work out, but I see why the FO did it. He still could become a valuable role player to this team.As long as he is wearing aqua and coral, I will support him 100%.
