The NFL in a scam. Why watch when teams like Dallas and NE get help VISUALLY on TV, this game is corrupt. They should start a division with DAL and NE in it. My son likes the Eagles so we're rooting against DAL but man I can feel his pain. Bob Kraft and Jerry Jones are the perfect diplomats for the NFL. Now I can relax with my sea breeze. Out.

Blatant DPI by Dallas, on a 3rd down pass. Flag thrown. Obvious call. Then the zebras discuss it, pick up the flag and wave it off. The score was 20-17 Detroit at the time and they were in Dallas territory. So after that, the Cowboys march down and score the winning TD.
Crap like that gives the entire damned league a WWE feel about it. Then at the end, seeing Jerbo and his crew up in their luxury box cheering and hugging. One fat obese bastard hugging Jerbo. I guess that was Chris Christy the arsehole gov of Jersey. -

Could you imagine Vince McMahon running the NFL? Lol With Jim Ross calling it "Good God! The Refs just took out Stafford with a steel chair! Good God!"

This kind of stuff does give right into conspiracy theory. The NFL tries to keep Suh out of the game, then a really bizarre overturn of a game changing call late in the game to give Dallas an edge? Crazy. You can't make this **** up. But then again we see it 2 times a year with the Pats so I'm used to it personally. There are a handful of powerful owners that are on all of the committees that control the league, they get a few bones thrown now and then. Sucks but its the business.

To be fair, bad calls were going against both teams all day. I feel for the lions though.

Not only picking up the DPI flag but after it was thrown, Dez Bryant walks out onto the field to argue the call, with his helmet off. This should have been an unsportsmanlike conduct flag regardless of the DPI call being inexplicably reversed.

Missed in the discussion is the length of time between the correct DPI call being made and then the flag being picked up. I've never seen anything like it. Long enough for that Mike fairiearajandkad; whatever his name is to confirm it was 100% DPI only to be shocked when action picked up at 4th and 1. If the call hadn't been made, it would still be ****ty. But that fact that the right call was made, a ridiculous amount of time passed, and then the flag was picked up makes it the greasiest, shadiest thing I've seen watching an NFL game.

??? It's already in the "other NFL" forum. -
edit: just found out that the back judge threw the flag and the headlinesman convinced the ref that it was "minimal contact". Whatever, it was BS and any controversial calls, especially during playoffs and as obvious as this one was, hurts the NFL image. -
Clearly the defender's face mask was being held on to on the play.
-
But that was not the issue and was not called. The PI was called.
-
offsetting penalties and replay 3rd down.
-
That would have been better than nothing for Detroit but on the PI was called and therefore the point of controversy.
-
Or Stafford could have thrown a better pass.
-
There was NO contact from the defender outside of knocking away Pettigrew's hand from his facemask. The right call got made. The conspiracy theories are getting old.
