Just watched the jets game. Starters didn't play long.
Cal Pace looked like a beast.
Big and and always near the ball or hurrying the QB.
Didn't notice actually making plays but I got the sense he will.
He may be worth what they paid.
V Gholston looked apathetic, weak, slow and confused. One play he was unblocked and didn't get to Brady.
He hurried him, but a lot of OLB/DE would have taken Brady's head off.
He had only 3 tackles.
One saved a long gain( only 5-8 yrds), but this was only after he got blocked backwards about 3-4 yrds.
He will obvously improve once he learns the
system and things slow down for him, but I always thought natural pass rushers did fairly well as rookies.
D Bowens looked good at LB but i only noticed him later on against the second teamers.

Damn, missing out on Pace did hurt us a little....he was meant to be the answer for Jason Talyor. We'll see week one though.
Well, Merriman and Ware were DEs who converted to OLB without problems. I expected Gholston to do the same. I guess not. He has time on his side at least.
I still like David Bowens. Wish he would come back.
