It's quite pathetic up there. From their on the field performances the past few years to the off the field stuff (Johan charged for sexual battery, dude challenging minor league team to a fight etc.)

According to a few sources the only way the Mets would have a shot at being able to void the contract is if K-Rod pleads guilty or if he's convicted. People are pointing at Aaron Boone hurting himself playing basketball and thus the Yankees voiding his contract but there was written language in Boone's contract that prevented him doing certain things and one of them was from playing basketball.
