Adam Shefter of NFL Network is reporting that the Oakland Raiders have signed free agent DE Kalimba Edwards, formerly of the Lions. The latest in a string of Raiders' off-season purchases is expected to receive a two-year deal for $5 million. Edwards' six-year career has been notable for its incredible inconsistency. He can look like a potential sack leader one week and be riding the bench a week or two later. I think thats a pretty good pickup for the raiders. Edwards is still a pretty good player, I think now that he's out of Detroit we may see some improvement out of this guy
