Clearing the decks to draft a DE?

Wimbley was an underachiever in Cleveland so he went to where all underachievers wind up...

There goes Derrick Morgan. To me, this means Cleveland has zeroed in on Derrick at this time.

Maybe, don't overlook the fact they have Delhomme and Wallace at Qb, they could easily take Jimmy Clausen whether Mangini likes it or not, he would be the "Qb of the future" when Mangini is gone.

That's not necessarily true, they certainly can draft Graham. Hopefully it means Shaun Rogers will be a Dolphin as well.

Mortensen pointed out something rather interesting:

Now that is half of the story, Suggs missed games last yr after Brady Quinn chopped him at his knees, but still, Wimbley was modestly productive in Cleveland.

I always thought Wimbley was a decent player - but in today's world a 3rd is a pretty high price.

Wimbley just didn't stop the run. Suggs is excellent against the run.

I dont see Clausen and Bradford making it out of the top 4. I hope they go defensive end. If Seattle passes on Berry as well ....

I just don't see why Morgan necessarily is gone. Nothing is set in stone and it's possible they don't even view him as a 3-4 OLB as we apparently do.

Eric Berry, Joe Haden, Dez Bryant - all are definitely in the running.

I don't see Haden in the top ten.
