http://www.thephins.com/forums/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=3 Maybe in the Div for Dansby, will he have a heads up on our offense?
It would be a good move for the bills..Rangy player with good instincts..and a recent dedication to his body.
Only good I could see if he went to the Bills is the fact he would be taking top dollar from their cap. He is still a very good LBer that we don't need to see on the field.
You sig says you never once saw him, which doesn't say much for your observational skills during the games.
yeah, that said, he's still a nice player.... would welcome him back at the right price to perhaps replace Misi......... but there's better options. Ellerbe is going to be what we hoped Dansby was. A LB that makes big plays.
Give your sense of humor a vacation, your getting old Clean. You know he didn't live up to expectations as a play making LB. Observational skills lol. Seriously ?
You must have spent a lot of time in the bathroom or somewhere else when the Dolphins played last year. Dansby was credited with 101 tackles and 33 assists as the Dolphins ML last season. Like him or not, the fact is that he was one of the best players on the Dolphins defense in 2012. I would rather have seen the Dolphins cut Misi and keep Dansby, but Dansby's salary, compared to Misi's, was just too much of a difference for the Dolphins to keep him on the roster. Especially since they spent so much money on the LB position in free agency.
My gripes of Dansby the past 2 years are no secret...he couldn't make a big play to save his life, but there is no denying he was solid. We won't miss him, but would it surprise anyone if a tipped interception that hit his hands actually STAYED in his hands vs us?? Not me. In the end he was a bust FA when you factor in what he was paid.
Well, you did say you never once saw him. How could you watch the Dolphins and not notice Dansby? Did he really make any less plays than he made in Arizona? I'm not getting old. I am already old.
you were right, he didn't live up to the contract number, he didn't reach the level I projected him to get to..
