I just started reading and I'm already not down with what's going on... Let the Dolphins "Hang around"? We are the better team, though we have a losing record, and came into the season as the AFC East CHAMPS! Not to mention the game is in Miami... The rest makes sense as usual though I have a feeling the Dolphins are going to have some craziness up there sleeves this week... And I don't just mean trick-plays. I wouldn't be surprised to see us air it out for some of this game and not only because of the Bill's injuries...
To begin I look for them to mix in some pretty simple pass plays with the run to make Chad more comfortable. If Henne can get comfortable at QB then I think he can do well as the Dolphin signal caller. If he can just relax and not make any mistakes he will be fine. If he however makes some mistakes like Ints or fumbles then it could rattle his confidence. I hope he does really well so we can concentraite on some other Dolphin needs.
An INT would be nice, but as we have only gotten one turnover this year it may be hard to come by. Will Allen has never had more than 4 INT's in a season, and that was his rookie year. And, given Bell's difficulty in bringing in INT's we may have a tough time of it. We do need tham. Maybe Lynch gives us one as he has been out of action for a few weeks due to suspension.
Come on now Con, they've only beat Tampa Bay... I GUARANTEE A VICTORY!!! THAT'S RIGHT... I SAID IT! MIAMI STRAIGHT-OUT TAKES IT TO THE JILLS THIS WEEK!
Hopefully this will help: "Head coach Dick Jauron confirmed on Friday that the Bills will be without four starters Sunday at Miami. Leodis McKelvin was already a given after being placed on injured reserve Thursday, but joining him will be fellow defensive backs Bryan Scott and Donte Whitner as well as starting left tackle Demetrius Bell. Jonathan Scott will flip from right tackle over to left tackle to replace Bell and Kirk Chambers will come off the bench to fill Scott’s spot at right tackle." http://www.buffalobills.com/news/ar...r-Sunday/1056d2f6-90ad-497d-b54f-22b9c9a6ce76 Butler was already placed on IR last week. With those injuries at OT, if we can't get some pass rush then we're in for an even longer season than we thought.
We matchup pretty well against Buffalo. 1. The Bills have been much better at running the ball than passing. Our run defense is stout. 2. Even prior to the injuries in their secondary the Bills have struggled against the pass. It couldn't be a better situation for Henne. 3. Don't give up a big play to T.O. and we should win.
Thanks, again, for the time it took and the points in the article. I am going to the game Sunday (can't wait), and your columns always help me. I do much better watching on TV, yet I try to reread your words and others before I go to the stadium. I do pretty well following, but when I am there, it goes so fast and many plays are not "replayed" on the big screen. Not to mention I am rarely familiar with the other team's players if they are not "big names." Nice work.
