Great as usual Conu, to me alot of the Bills chances rely on "names" and not really sound, fundamental, football.

Who knows how many players will be retained when a new Staff comes in? Typically people like to say "well they are playing for their next job" as I recall though, the 07 Dolphins played worse as the season wound down and very few of the same players were still on the squad in 08.

Even the guys who did play well in 07 like Justin Peele, he was gone, so were players who mailed it in like Marty Booker..

That may true of many organizations, but with the Bills history of being stingy I wonder if they would do a salary dump and then re-up new players in a possible uncapped year.

That's a bit much for them isn't it? Your premise by itself is absolutely true, but will it be true in Buffalo given the economic dynamics of that team?

There will be players let go, but who?

How do you think could afford a Shanahan? They gave away the entire left side of their Oline and did not even blanche', then cut the fillin LT.

There will be talk in the locker room, which distracts from the game, if anything TO could be even more dangerous because he knows if he does not turn it around he will be out of the NFL next season.

The way T.O. has handled thing thus far has been pretty good considering. He has done far worse before, and really he will likely get employed by someone next year.

Hey, he could wind up in Detroit for all we know.

Shanny saw that it was Canadian money.....that's why he didn't sign. He doesn't want to have to move to Canada.
