He probably teleported 20 years into the future and that was the guy who was tased at the Philly game

 

If he teleported to the future, then he wouldn't be here at all as a child. Moreover, the guy who was tased would have been the toddler in his current form/age and not here (present time/universe) to put down the beer.

 

It would be much more likely that the kid who was tased was the toddler from the future who had teleported into the past
