Last I checked, the "victim" ended up dropping the case and the DA followed due to lack of evidence. People tend to forget that people are innocent until proven guilty in this country.

Well, as long as we've gone completely off-topic here, I agree. I suppose there's some theoretical range of personalities that would do that, but that seemed awfully bizarre, and not at all helpful to her credibility as a witness.

Haha, that was one of the cases we went over in my undergraduate law seminar. Anyone with half a brain could figure out he had no case at all.
