Did you notice that juke Landry put on that guy? The punter I think? He was going full speed when he did that and didn't lose momentum...and I'll be damned but I thought he actually looked a little faster than last year.
That punt return was an amazing thing to see live and in person, Landry does look faster than last year. He might not be 40 time faster but he's faster on the field.
Landry is great on punt returns, but I don't want him on kick returns. we gotta figure out who's doing kick returns if James gets cut
Yup. The better punt returners are the ones with great cutting ability. Don't have to run 4.3s when you can just shake would be tacklers out of their cleats.
I believe Landry concentrated mostly on speed training this offseason, based on some of his interviews. It appears to have paid off.
Another source said that Landry playfully flicked LaMike's ear after walking in the room, and James jumped up and shoved him. There was some pushing and some words said but players quickly separated them before fists could fly.
He definitely looks faster on the field. Last year I think #30 catches him at the 5 or 10 yard line. BTW - I looked it up and #30 for the Skins (Kyshoen Jarrett) is a 4.5/40 guy
