News broke in August that Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry was under investigation for battery by the Broward County State Attorney’s Office as the result of an incident with the mother of his child earlier this year.
The woman said Landry did not inflict any physical harm and Landry said the same, but the investigation continued into September. It has now come to an end and Landry will not be facing any charges.
“I am very thankful that this matter is over and my family and I can put this behind us now,” Landry said in a statement, via Adam Schefter of ESPN. “I greatly respect and appreciate the Broward County State Attorney’s Office for their hard work and thorough investigation into this matter and I am thankful that they were able to come to a conclusion that reaffirms the true facts that no crime was committed. My daughter’s mother and I will continue to co-parent to raise our child in a happy and healthy environment. I would like to thank my family and friends for their continued support throughout this process.”
The NFL was reportedly doing its own investigation into the matter and, as we’ve been reminded in the Ezekiel Elliott case, the absence of criminal charges doesn’t mean the league won’t try to impose discipline on a player.

maybe he can get on the jugs machine now and catch passes!!!!!!!
-
maybe he can stop showing up his teammates on the field and start playing like a guy who wants Julio jones money..which means stop running backwards and sideways like you think you have speed...cause you clearly don't..
love ya juice, just know what your lane is...and stay in it.CashInFist likes this. -
I still want to trade Jarvis Landry. Now we actually can. He's a cancer for the offense at this point in his contract negotiations, and a distraction on the field (probably locker room now). He's dividing the team when we need unity. I'll take a high #2+ for Jarvis now and run.

DONE with Jarvis Landry, if we can trade him before the deadline. I hope he tears it up for us when he is in, but he ain't worth what he wants paid, and you know it @djphinfan. -
Just so you know what the best team in the league would have done with our WR position, the Pats would have signed one of Stills or Landry, traded the other, and then made good use of the 3rd round pick you took in Carroo and got the same WR production, less overall cost for the position, and a high draft pick. But leave it to the worst GM in the league Mike Tannenbaum to **** it up like he will soon do.

To me why I wouldn't pay him elite money is what he showed in the game, the rep he had where he's right at the first down marker, turns backwards tries to go lateral thinking he has some imaginary speed were all not aware of..
Bottom line.. the book is out on Jarvis Landry, and it lines up with my exact quote when I studied him and OBJ predraft.
" The farther away from the LOS Jarvis Landry gets, the less dangerous he becomes"
He can pretend all he wants but I'm confident in that assessment, and that means I can't give you elite money...
I can still take into account all the things he does do well, all the intangibles he brings to the table, I can put a pricetag on those things.. -
Have to play revisionist history when evaluating front office positions.
I'll give them another year before I either think their good or time to move on. -

There's enough red flags imo to be getting a little concerned..CashInFist likes this. -
You all are ungrateful for not appreciating what he has done for this garbage offense the last two years and overall for 4. Tannehill would be on the street if it wasn't for him.
I think he will perform better now that this is over, just stating the obvious. Stuff like this weighs on you, and it wasn't from the State, it is what the NFL would do -
Something about you, and i just dont know what it is, tells me youre not an objective observer here. -
