Per Alex Marvez' twitter.
I wouldn't be too upset if he left, considering how awful out LB play his been.

-
apparently they named him DC

I think he was part of the problem, but the talent procured by the nameless one was just God awful too.
-
Fin-Omenal and Dolfan330 like this.
-
-
he's probably happy to leave.
-
I don't think that he was part of the solution. How many LBs came to Miami and got better? Most got worse.
Fin-Omenal, crkranz, Dolphin Don and 3 others like this. -
-
Ya I dont know how long he's been here, but look at Dansby playing at a ProBowl level after he left us.
-
Apparently this guy has ties with Zimmer going way back...It would tend to make sense that he was brought in as someone who gets along with Zimmer, and will largely let Zimmer manage the D in most aspects. Not necessarily being brought in for his personal performance as a past DC or LB coach.

-
Well, it is official, he is going to the Vikings and the Dolphins are looking for a coach.
-
Mike Singletary is available. Minnesota LB play was pretty good no?
-
Edwards was in Miami under Saban, and IMO, he's a decent coach. D-Pate is correct that position coaches are tough to evaluate. Remember, under Saban, we had DE's making the transition to 3-4 OLB's, and I think they did pretty well with that transition. My memory could be faulty, though... -
