I've always hoped they incorporate gray pants, ala the New York Giants.

 

grey and navy blue with aqua and orange accents would be my dream uni...Our coaches wear the navy jackets all the time and there freakin cool as hell.

 

I wouldn't mind that at all. I think I'd prefer the aqua and grey with blue and orange accents, but either would be better than anything with orange as a primary color.

I'm just not sold on navy blue as a primary color.
Aqua and Orange. With a touch of grey. That's it.
I have a good idea in my mind of what the uniforms and logo could look like with those 3 colors, but I don't have to photoshop skills to bring it to life.

 

In my mind, going with orange as a primary pretty much makes us another Denver or UM. Based on your sig, I would guess you're okay with that.

 

The big guys always look horrid in orange. Every time we've worn the orange jerseys, I've heard the players cracking on the big guys saying they look like pumpkins. I've also heard players complain that in the orange they look like traffic cones.

Personally, I think the grey looks good with either aqua or blue. There's probably some decorator's color wheel that can confirm that that combination works. I've never understood that stuff, but I heard a decorator explain once why different hues complimented each other. I just know I like the look better. I prefer the aqua just b/c I like the color better (by itself) and it feels more in tune with our history.

 

Especially one with an M on the side.

 

Well, if it was the team helmet in the logo it would then be a logo inside a logo inside a logo inside a logo...and so on. It is never ending.

 

I don't want orange as the primary color. I want Aqua to be the primary color. I want orange and grey to be the accent colors. The only difference I'd like to see in the uniform/logo is switch out the navy blue with grey and get rid of the number shadows. A grey facemask would be cool too.
Having the Broncos in my sig is for the GM League only. I have no allegiance towards them.

Maybe it just we're not used to it, but I really don't like it.

 

So goes the cosmos. Really though, your name suddenly made me realize that the Canes have an M on their helmet. so the Dolphin is wearing a Canes helmet. Now it's getting really weird. Heck, Ross is a Michigan guy, the M might mean its a Michigan helmet.

Back on topic, I kind of like the idea of a little gray. The color should be primarily aqua with accents of either orange, gray, or navy. Not all at once though. Get rid of the helmet, and maybe put a football somewhere so we know it's the Miami Dolphin.

 

Yeah....I don't like it. If we go full dolphin, sans helmet, then have it in attack mode sideways. The jumping dolphin just doesn't work that way.

I agree. I didn't mean I wanted the same logo with no helmet. I'd probably go with a bigger Dolphin in a different pose. Maybe a more stylized, less cartoon version and just the top half of the sun.

 

The more I look at it the more I actually like it. It has a certain clean, simple look, and I'm kinda digging the newer dolphin inside the old sunburst. What might look cool is the alternate logo (the dolphin with the football) inside the old sunburst.

 

So the Jags are going Black/Gold for uni's with their teal taking a backseat to the trim.....I would love to take on their teal color over the current aqua we use

I prefer the aqua to the teal b/c it feels more unique.

Ironically enough, the dolphin without the helmet looks downright ******ed IMO.

this is exactly what I would like to see. Imo, adding blue just confuses the color scheme. The blue and aqua along with a white look good, but then the orange seems out of place.

keep it simple and have a kind of retro/faded color feel.
