The thing I always try to do is when stating my opinion, no matter how outlandish, is make sure I've got solid facts, quotes, or other resources to back it up. The other key is to respect other folks - even if their opinion doesn't jive with mine. Overall, I think this keeps things running extremely smooth here, much more so than at other sites.

I think the most important thing to remember here is that we want to keep the conversation respectful and civil. Feel free to share your thoughts on any topic, we don't moderate opinions here, just how those opinions are expressed. It's okay for folks to disagree, people shouldn't feel uncomfortable for posting an unpopular opinion, so don't hold back if you truly believe in your point of view. But if those opinions are shared in a way that will lead to bickering and the type of things you see on other sites, that's when we step in and remind you guys what this site is about.

The more you post here, the more great folks you'll get to know, many of them on a first name basis. We have alot of great people on this forum (azfinfanmang not included), so jump in and enjoy.

Hey Shaun, if it seems like everyone knows each other well its because many of us have been posting on the same forums for at least 3-5 years, in some cases maybe longer. If it comes off as cliquish at all thats something we need to work at.

As far as pointers I think many people in this thread make great points so when you see one just click the "thanks" button in the corner. Overall, just be yourself, be courteous to others, and back up your opinions with facts....do that and you will be alright.

And whatever Lucky says...just ignore it like it never happened. Thats what we all do
