Lebron James new Commercial with Cleveland response

Meh. Its creative but annoyingly whiny.

I did like the Quitness logo at the end. Never seen that before.

 

The "throw it in our faces on national television" was the only funny part. Overall though it was just, as Samphin said, whiney and dumb

 

Cant blame Cleveland for being mad at how he handled it. Sorry but he threw it in their faces on national tv, and he waited til it was too late for them to get anyone to replace him. By then all the top 2 tier lever levels of FA were signed.

But its time to get over it, but the Nike commercial just begged for a response.

 

Rather people wanna admidt it or not he handled it BAD, that being said I dont blame all these homeristic Heat fans for not caring how he left and only worrying about that he is "our traitor". If he wouldve went to NY I wouldve forgiven the arrogance myself.

To a fan yes.....Magic fans , Bulls fans all would've found a way to forgive his classless national tv decision had he picked their team. And Heat fans would be piling on lebron swell. If he didn't choose Cleveland then every fan of every OTHER team he didn't choose was gonna blast his whoa is me decision.

 

Fin-O's a Knicks fan. Of course he would be okay with it if he went to his team. The whole thing is ******ed at this point. Can't we get back to the serious stuff like Brett Favre's dong shots and hating Dan Henning?

people need to grow up and get over it. things change over 7 years time. maybe in that time he realized it was never going to happen in clevland because he couldnt do it alone.

i could understand the crying when it just happened but its been long enough now. anyone who is still complaining needs to look in the mirror and analyze their own life if this is such a big deal for them when it doesnt involve them at all.

The only thing that was hurt E was his feelings....this was about the same time he found out West was doing his momma.

Anyone who seen his body language after that series and in the PC could tell it was unlikely he wasnt going back there. And that was fine. People could accept that, but to parade himself around on national tv with a one hour special was ridiculous. He said himself he wished he wouldve handled it differently. His whole career he spoke of loyalty to that area and bringing championships "home"....and I still had no issue with him leaving.

For me the real winner was Kobe Bryant because now he has no challenger for best layer in the league and Lebron was nipping at his heels, but no longer because Kobe didnt need to form a mini dream team to win his titles.

I believe the Heat will win an NBA title just not this year.

 

LeBron James' legace is ruined. IF he even wins a ring, he still won't be considered with the greats. I personally don't think the Miami Heat will win at all. LeBron James' career is tarnished. He'll never pass Kobe in his career.

 

Nope. He needed Bynum to grow up and Gasol to fall into his lap, which is fine. But he cried and demanded to be traded before that.

 

Gasol yes but Bynum wasnt as pivitol as a Bosh or Wade. Also he stayed home and won titles when he couldve easily called 2-3 other big time FA and had some plan to "ease" his way into titles. Nope. He stayed he won he is better than Lebron.

I say Kobe quit VISIBLY in 2 playoff series..and notoriously versus the Suns with the team Wade took to the second round. (Kobe missed the playoffs with the same team)

Kobe has 7 finals appearance with ONE actual series worth a finals MVP.

Lebron defeated what was considered the best defensive team since the 96 Bulls (The Pistons) By himself with what is considered the finest playoff series performance in HISTORY in the ECF's.

Kobe deffered to SHAQ for three straight championship runs and was the actual sidekick throughout.

he then has ONE run as "the man". congrats for that.....then reverts right back to getting carried by a big man last year.

This definitely wasn't the most well-done spoof of this video I've seen here in Cleveland.

And I don't expect people in Miami to think Cleveland is a great place to live (though I wonder how many of you have been here to trash it the way it is on this board.)

But I don't think these videos are some horrible crybaby response. LeBron **** on us pretty bad. He went out of his way to take out ads in the Akron paper thanking the fans but not in the Cleveland papers. He never said anything about the fans other than he "spoiled them".

This city treated him like a god - and he played like one. He offered the fans here no respect in his decision to leave and actions after - so I am not sure why you expect the fans to do the same.

 

I wish LeBron would take the sport half as serious as Kobe. If he spent an offseason working on a post game or focused on moving without the ball to set up other players instead of having to initiate everything he would be unstoppable. The ONE offseason he worked his tail off improving his jumpshot he came out as a new player. Love to see him be more focused on improving and not relying so much on his physical advantage. Hopefully now that the free agency thing is over he will commit - though with that movie he wants to film it still might not happen this year.

 

I'm from Bloomington Indiana and in fact I use to live in his home town Akron. Its garbage, so is Cleveland. The place is ran to the ground and is overcome by poverty and crime. Another reason I dont blame him for wanting to go to Miami. He's lived in a depressing F'd up city all his life, he wants to have fun and live somewhere where he doesn't want to shoot himself every time he opens his window.

First off - everything in the video is addressing things he did to Cleveland - nothing about him as a Heat player.

Second - what was said that was so horrible? The only thing you could argue with was the line about him quitting.

And although Sec keeps pointing to the triple-double in game 6 it was game 5 that everyone points to as quitting (15 pts, 7 asts, 6 rebs).

I don't see where this video is overly negative towards LeBron about anything other than The Decision.

Or why Heat fans even care. He was a prick to Cleveland, we are pissed - he is on your team and playing great - why do you feel the need to argue that his farts smell like roses? Just go win championships and enjoy it.

 

No no. The Heat fans on this site have been and will defend what James did until the end of time. IMO, there's no real point in trying to prove or say anything otherwise b/c it'd be a never-ending conversation that as the 3 Stooges would say, "We're getting no place fast".
