Well deserved honor for Lebron. He got robbed in 2008 and deserves the award this year. What a monster, and to think he is only 24 years old. Wade gave him a run for his money after the All-Star break but tailed off towards the end of the season.

Congrats to Lebron and Cleveland. I hope and pray he either leaves for the Western Conference or stays with the Cavs. While the Knicks squirm when he gives them the middle finger.

Meh but congrats to him. I can't get around to liking his game; I don't know why. I enjoy watching Wade and Kobe more than LeBron.

I was hoping for Wade, but LeBron's done more than enough to earn it as well. Congrats.

I love Wade to death, but also think Bron is a special player. The guy is a beast and plays with good energy and passion.. I think the NBA has a great future when you have guys like Lebron / Wade playing at a high level.

Now if the Heat could clear out everyone on the roster and make a run for Lebron I would be the happiest human ever.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's an excellent player and is a leader on the court but I just dislike his game for some reason.

Earned my vote. Well done, and congratulations. He's the best athlete in all of sports right now to me, and he definitely deserved it. The way he's improved his overall game and leadership from his rookie year is astonishing, especially on the defensive end. I think his numbers are an understatement for all those 4th quarters he sat out, too.

Now that the results are out.... I do, however, have a problem with Kobe Bryant finishing second place. That's just garbage. And forget about numbers, Chauncey Billups should have finished 5th over Chris Paul without question in my mind. He took an average at best basketball team and completely reshaped and formed them into a contender single handedly.

Wade had more first place votes than Kobe but Kobe had more total points. Check out the results.

The disparity between James and Bryant / Wade is laughable. There is no way Wade and Kobe were that far off throughout the course of this season.

Not knocking LeBron. It would be theft if he didn't win the award, but come on. It shouldn't be that far off.

Good for James. Now if only he can man up and enter a Dunk Contest for once....

All 121 voters could have thought they were neck and neck. With that in mind, the overall totals aren't necessarily going to reflect individual opinion.

It's just like in boxing. You could have a really great fight. But if one guy consistently edged out the other in the middle rounds, you're gonna get a 'lopsided', unanimous decision despite what is actually a close fight.

He's already confirmed for next year.

Also I'm glad to see Lebron get this and I agree with the Kobe/Wade discussion that Wade should have in fact been number 2. The Lakers are a playoff team without Kobe and I doubt the Heat would make the playoffs, even in the East, without Wade.
