One was a First Team All Big 12 performer in 2006, the other made the All-SEC Second Team in each of the past two seasons…but neither heard their name called on draft weekend.
Who are they? Oklahoma St.’s Adarius Bowman and Alabama’s D.J. Hall. Why weren’t they drafted? That answer is a little more complex.
Regan21286New MemberI was pretty surprised to see neither given a 7th round or pursued much as UDFA's. I do like what they bring to the table, big tall WR's who have the talent to be something special in this league. If we're bringing in Kircus, we might as well give Bowman a shot because he's the big bulky WR Parcells looks for and could be a steal if he keeps it clean.

I gotta agree with Reagan here. I rather take on a chance with Bowman than Kircus. Bowman may cause trouble off the field but so did Kircus and I believe that Bowman is a far superior talent than Kircus. Still a head scratcher that D.J. Hall is a UDFA.

People are still scared by his recurring marijuana issues. Heck, if Parcells can waive off Ricky's own issues, why not Bowman?

Sethdaddy8forum_veteranyeah, i liked DJ Hall as I went out of my way to watch a few Bama games. Watching Saban was compelling tv this past season. I liked the kid a lot. i wouldnt mind seeing him in camp.

I agree. I was really impressed with him vs Mississippi and Tennessee.
i really thought Hall was picked up by the Giants. I cannot verify because i am at work at cannot search the Web. For some odd reason, this is the only site that works online for along with Google. Believe me, this is all i need.

He's with the Giants but since the Giants have a good number of WR's themselves, Hall might still be available.

He is. Though the Giants are somewhat set at WR.

I don't know how D.J. Hall wasn't drafted. I thought for sure he would go in the 6th or 7th round, I was hoping to Miami.
