Living in Chiefs Kingdom, this will be the first time I've ever rooted for these fools.

I'm scared.

 

They better be hungry and come to play today because DEN isnt even playing well right now. All i want for xmas is a KC win

 

I believe TJ Ward is out....thats huge.

I dont see either offense doing much, going to come down to who makes the fewer mistakes, and you gotta like Alex Smith over Trevor Sieman.

 

Uncharted territory for us. I don't recall ever rooting for a team to directly help the phins chances. Not since the Wanny era.

 

Usually it is like 3 or 4 teams.

I'm not sure if this got shared here or not, but at the end of the Denver game last week their head coach said, "Does anyone want to address the room before I talk to you?" Immediately, their starting offensive guard stood up.

At the same time though, a few defensive players jumped to their feet and told him to sit down. They said that there's nothing they need to hear from the offense since they haven't been able to put up any points for almost a month now, and that they were tired of the "offensive leaders" playing like crap while the defense is carrying the team. There was some shoving as well and a brawl almost broke out...so that's a very divided football team.

Folks, this is not the kind of squad that wins games in December. I would argue that Denver wouldn't beat Cleveland right now, much less KC or Oakland. If they do somehow steal a victory today, then it's going to be a Christmas Miracle of epic proportions.

 

Chiefs now guaranteed a playoff spot - maybe takes away some urgency from this game?

 

No, a Chiefs win means they can win the AFC West next week and get a home game. They still have something to play for.
