What happened? We allowed 24 points making our young QB to try and win it all for us. We lost Dansby, I understand that but when your defense collapses because one player is out something is wrong.
It's called having a bad game. You get concerned when too many happen, as everybody has one once in awhile.
They didn't play well but you think the defence could pick them up for once.I guess that is asking for to much with this sorry *** bunch.
The defense didn't play well and they're without a doubt getting some blame for the loss. However, why can't we expect a 3rd year player, 2 year starter to be able to win a game for us? Or be able to lead the team down the field for a score to win the game? Every other team does it? I mean it's like within that phrase you're insinuating that we need to coddle the guy, be conservative, don't put him in difficult positions, yet we crucify the offensive coaches/coaching staff when we follow that route? It just doesn't make sense to me.
I fell out of my seat when I saw Crowder actually knock down a pass. He had his arm draped around the receiver but no call. I'll give him that one because I've only seen a fist full of plays from him in 6 seasons. Not a one being a big one. Crowder stinks. No structure. Does he know how to read play action after all these years..... Nope. Make that guy walk the plank.
I tell you what happened: The guys on D said, "It's time to pack it in.....We are getting our last couple paychecks and then playing golf while the Jets and Pats go to the playoffs, so why put forth any effort?" That's what happened.
