....when you have an average QB, with a team that went 7-9 but should have been 8-8 if not for a bad call, with a defense that is poised to be Top 5 after a draft where many offensive needs were met, while finally getting an easy schedule compared to last year...apparently.....

Getting so goddamn tired of these threads. Yes, we are fans of an average team with an average QB. Get over it already
MrClean, , TotoreMexico and 1 other person like this. -
It's not so easy getting over your team that you seen in it's glory days back to the SB's, Perfect season, Don Shula, Marino, Killer Bees, No-name defense and then to see it being foolishly torn apart and people sit there with their heads up their coola's and make excuses ...............
I guess I handle my pain with sarcasm you don't like it, I'll stop forcing you to read it......... -
When it is run by Al Davis. /thread.
-
But your silly posts are insinuating that this regime took an elite franchise and tanked it
- we have been highly mediocre for 20 years, including the last of the Shula years.
- we have significantly more talent now than we did 3 years ago.
- we have only 3 major holes on this team- QB, RT and a bonafide 3rd RB
Since Shula, we have had 5 regimes. As mediocre as we are now, this regime is arguably only the 4th worst on that list. Nothing to dance a jig about, but it's been much worse. So maybe, cut back on the negative rhetoric so some of us can enjoy what's left of the season. Doesn't mean stop, but cut back. -

Am I forcing to read what I say. Do I tell other posters to shut up because I don't agree with them or think they are retarted ...No...It's a sports forum were everybody express their views feelings whatever about their team....
And my rant is the fact that we've been going on a 4 year rebuild for 10 years and I did see great possibilities considering the defense we have but to see this organization making moves and non moves that make Wannstetd look like a genius is terribly frustrating. ..Going 9-7 in your dreams try maybe 4-12.........
When My team gets really bad like this I give them the benefit of doubt for a good amount of time and give a significant period to let their plan play out and then I start to complain did it alot at the end a wanny days too (now into the 4th year).
I think it could speed up the process of turning over a organization if the fans had a united front and made clear their disppointment instead of sticking their heads in the sand and fantisizing all will be OK.. And I tell ya I really don't know what some of you need to see to realize the direction were heading and situation were in............blows my mind
We'll my fellow Dolphin fan you better get used to this unruly clan because most of us Dolphin fans look for excellence not mediocrity and more and more will be jumping on the bandwagon as it becomes even clearer at this organizations ineptitude at even mediocrity..........I guess you'll just need another full season of depressing Sundays..enjoy -

This franchise isn’t going down the toilet. It was flushed out to sea long before these guys got here. Sparano has 25 wins and an AFC East title in his 3 seasons and Wannstedt, Bates, Saban and Cameron amassed 26 in the previous 5.
The part I have the hardest time understanding is why the frontrunners wanted a Super Bowl winning coach to be brought in to right the ship when no head coach in the history of the NFL has ever won a Super Bowl with a second team and yet those same people don’t think the game could slow down enough for Henne to make him at least as effective as Sanchez with the right pieces in place.
And before you pull the Sanchez is younger than Henne card. It’s not like Ryan walked in on a 1-15 team and started lighting it up. The previous year they brought in Favre and dumped Pennington because they thought they were already there.
This isn’t the NBA. At least 40 of the 45 guys that suit up every week have a role or many roles. Comparing the 2007 Dolphin roster with whatever it will be this year leads me to believe the team is heading in the right direction.
That being said, I am a bit baffled there isn’t a veteran QB in camp. I thought Hasselbeck would have been nice. But if Sparano wants to hitch his wagon to Henne so be it. He’s got a lot more at stake than I do. I'm also very happy that whomever the management is next year, they will have a full pocket of draft picks. A 2nd and Starks for Orton would have had me start posting threads similar to your's.
Trowa and Ohio Fanatic like this. -
What's really funny is that you spew over and over that the regime are idiots that are ruining the franchise. But, you mention the really good defense. Guess who built that defense, arguably a top 3-5 defense in the NFL. So, yes, they screwed the pooch at QB. We have no good options at this time. Let-it-go and try to enjoy the 8 wins we get this season. And anyone who thinks we end up with 4 wins, barring a disastrous string of injuries, is an idiotbrandon27 and unluckyluciano like this. -
But it's to late now.......
Also feel that Ireland is the one that does the hitching (Henne) when it comes to who Sparano coaches.... -

I'm sorry, wasn't our 2nd rd pick a RB? I wanted Bradshaw too, but in their eyes, he's a luxury, not a necessity.
I agree they should have pushed for another TE, or a 5th starter on the line.
We have talent on offense, just question whether we can use it properly. Hen ing couldn't, let's at least wait and see what Daboll can do. -
I think that it's so inept to not have more offensive weapons that are proven so that we are not totally depending on UNKNOWN factors as to how good all these guys are going to be. And at the same time strengthening and adding weapons to the offense for the time when we have an efficient QB. We've just gone by one of the greatest free agency in the history of the NFL and what to we have for it on offense ???
The weird part is they did put together a solid defense, but seem to be clueless about the offense....
You guys are right about me constantly trying to expose the inefficiencies of our FO, people believe what they want to no matter what going on right in front of them.
You right banging my head against the wall is a waste of time, you'll just have to find out the hard way, real games...
I admit I've overdone it, I'm very passionate when it comes to my Fins but I'll give it break and come back later in the season to confront your cluelessness............or apologize deeply and admit I was the stupid one.........
Time will tell...............
