John Beck: Was taking all the first snaps. The way they do it is send first team out for like three plays, second, team and third. They kept one quarterback through an entire rotation and then would switch. So in the end both quarterbacks got to work with all teams. However John Beck was taking all the first rotations of any drill.
First they do offensive drills with no defense, Beck’s long ball looked really good, hitting receivers in stride. Then the full team drills, 11 on 11!!! Johnhad had some nice throws that got the crowd cheering. One dropping the ball right over the corners head into the receiver’s hands. He had a couple good 15 yard completions, and a couple check downs and a couple errant throws, too high outs to the side, and one pattern miscommunication. I am really happy there were no fumbled snaps or anything like that!! (Something I would do ) I thought he looked solid, right after a great completion I kept hoping they would turn it on and really move the ball. But a really good streak never seemed to occur. On a good note nothing too terribly bad happened. His throws looked a little wobbly to me, not the tight spiral he always throws. He's seems a little cautious, but I think he's trying to take care of the ball.
