With the 2008 NFL Draft in the books, NFL Insider Ralph Mancini takes a look at what it means in the world of fantasy football. http://www.nfldraftbible.com/Latest/living_a_fantasy.html
I'll put money on Jacob Hester becoming a household name out of San Diego. Could get Cooley type of numbers, but with more rushing.
I'd also like to make an early sleeper prediction. Jason Campbell will put up Derek Anderson numbers this season.
Manningham is going to get huge rookie numbers in NY. Watch for an injury bug to put Super Mario in the flanker position at some point in the season. But he should serve as the #2 in the time being. I can see him becoming a favorite target of Eli's, who tends to favor his new weapons.
If Jerramy "Dropsies" Stevens can net 500+ yards and 5 TD's, John Carlson can at least match that. That's good enough to be a TE worth considering in the late rounds. If Benson gets the boot or rides the pine, I think Matt Forte would then likely be the fantasy ROY.
Wow, picking a Chicago running back as a candidate for FROY is quite daring. Carlson will be worth the investment. Losing DJ Hackett will give him a shot at a few more balls.
Again, it depends on Benson's status but if Forte is given the starters spot and enough reps, he could perform well. He's already made a great impression so far especially with Lovie Smith and he can look very good in the Chicago offense.
