Now I know, having less real practice time is worse for everyone. But doesn't this especially hurt the Dolphins considering how awful the 2010 season finished? The offense especially, who struggled all season. And we all remember how the team quit in the last New England game. Now teams like the Patriots, Packers and Saints probably won't be as affected by the lack of practice. Brady, Brees, Manning, etc. can just walk on the field and control the game, and their supporting players probably won't have any issue either. With the Dolphins it just makes the outlook a little more grim.
Well, not really, there once *cough* *wheeze* takes out dentures, when all the offseason consisted of was Training Camp, and small minicamps, as in 4 days or a week, the yr rd football is a relatively new thing and guys like Walsh used to install what they needed done in that time frame. Bigger concern is, Brian Daboll, what are we getting in him? Is a new Qb coming in? Will the Oline be settled? All the reduced time does is shrink the reps the longshots have to make an impression the Starters will see far more then they usually see.
It is Monday. I think it'll show us how much each team trained during their "time off" from team-sanctioned events if anything. I hope Henne and Long had some good practices.
I think we've been stuck in recycle mode for three months. Its just taken the enjoyment right out of it. Can't wait till I open a thread saying just signed player x.
Sorry, I haven't posted in the Dolphins forum section in a long time. The lockout had taken away a bunch of my interest in it.
To be quite honest, I think the lockout is going to be an advantage for the Dolphins. The teams that will benefit from this will be the ones that are good with their fundamentals. I think we've done good in that area under Sparano.
